Breeding Programme:
·The breeding goal
is increasing on productivity, main emphasis on protein production. The goal
is to get at least 8,500 kg of milk per cow per year, 3.50 % of protein (298
kg). Adult cows height 145 cm and weight at least 650 kg. Strong feet and
legs and healthy and good udder. Recommended colour is red, but different
colours by using different breeding material from other ERDB countries, is
acceptable (light brown, brown, red and white etc.). Although a special
emphasis has put on herd longevity and healthy cows.
